shirts in all different styles and fabrics. Classic tuxedo shirts
are made with a wing tip or laydown collar. Though wing tip tuxedo
shirts are more common, laydown tuxedo shirts have gained in popularity
over the last few years. Besides wing tip and laydown collar tuxedos
shirts, we also offer a mandarin collar tuxedo shirt. Mandarin collar
tuxedo shirts are considered very contemporary and “fashion
forward”, and are worn with a button cover instead of a tie.
Tuxedos shirts made from a poly/cotton material are typically what
are worn with a rental tuxedo. Though not the most comfortable fabric,
it is an economical alternative for the infrequent user of tuxedo
shirts.
100% cotton tuxedo shirts are recommended for their comfortable
fit. Most cotton tuxedo shirts are made with French cuffs, and typically
have larger ½ pleats. We recommend 100% cotton tuxedo shirts
for the frequent user, or for the gentleman that wants a softer,
more comfortable fabric.
Lastly, you will notice that we offer tuxedo shirts in a pique
fabric. Please note that these tuxedo shirts are only to be worn
with tuxedo tails.
