American Formal Wear On the 57th Presidential Inauguration

President Obama sworn in to his 2nd term in office - in style, of course.

On January 21, 2013, the 57th Inaugural Ceremonies took off in a grand style. Charles E. Schumer, the current Chairman of the Joint Committee on Inaugural Ceremonies for President Barack H. Obama’s 2nd inauguration, served as the master of ceremonies and gave a tremulously powerful opening speech during the Call to Order and Welcome Remarks. Before he stepped off the podium, he left us with this: “America always rises to the occasion.” That day, America managed to do so again.  Doing their best to keep the nation’s standards high, the president, his family, fellow cabinet members, and guests rose in stunning and celebratory formal wear as the entire Nation watched our 44th president swear into office. Mitt Romney. Barack Obama. With the presidential election a few short months away, the 2012 campaign for the oval office is definitely heating up. Both candidates are touring the country, making speeches and public appearances as they battle for the nation’s highest office. We at Fine Tuxedos thought we’d scrutinize both the Incumbent Democrat Barack Obama and the Republican challenger Mitt Romney according to the most all-important but seldom-discussed criterion of them all: style.
