Taylor Swift’s newest music video for her song “Blank Space” is getting a lot of attention, and it’s not just for the music.  The video features an amazing setting, a sleek car, horses, Dobermans, and, of course, some amazing outfits.  Swift’s dresses definitely stand out, but the outfits her co-star, male model Sean O’Pry, wear are just as incredible.  Let’s take a look at what he wore and how you can recreate his looks. When we first see O’Pry, he’s driving up to Swift’s mansion (actually a combination of settings from Woolworth Mansion and Oheka Castle in New York) in a vintage car.  He steps out wearing a traditional black suit, white shirt, and tie. It’s a very classy look that can be recreated with something like this basic tuxedo package. O’Pry has replaced the white button up shirt with a black one, but he keeps the classic black jacket and pants. Then he again quickly changes, from the all-black look for another classic: a white shirt and white dinner jacket.  This look is also very easy to recreate—all you need is the white dinner jacket – 2 button notch lapel, a white shirt, and black pants. At one point in the video, Swift destroys O’Pry’s classic tuxedos.  She cuts holes in his white dress shirts, slashes his black tuxedo pans so they fall off, and lights his tuxedo jacket on fire. Men who spend a lot of time and effort into selecting their outfits can surely feel his pain here. Later, both of them appear in more casual riding outfits.  O’Pry wears grey pants, a white shirt, and a dark blue vest that’s casual yet very appropriate for horseback riding.  He completes the outfit, of course, with knee-high riding boots. His most casual look comes during the picnic scene.  While most of this part of the video focuses on Swift, we can see that O’Pry is wearing a pair of khaki shorts, white shirt, brown belt, and a blue cardigan or light jacket. It’s a very relaxed look that’s perfect for the outdoors. As a male model, O’Pry knows how to make the most of his clothing.  He looks great in the video no matter what he’s wearing. He pulls off everything from the casual picnic outfit to more formal tuxedos and suits. His casual looks like the sweater over a classic button up are very easy to mimic, as are his classic suits because he doesn’t do anything too wild with them. They’re classic black, grey, or white, colors that are easily available. Swift, of course, looks great in all of her outfits as well, and most people will be paying more attention to her than him.  But there’s no denying O’Pry was the perfect choice for this video.
