Submit Your Entry For A Chance To Win A Calvin Klein Tuxedo![/caption] The concept of prom proposals or promposals has officially established itself at the top of the list in prom trends. Every year, young men are now investing an abundance of mental energy and financial savings on alternative ways to ask this simple question: Will you go to prom with me?  From decorative cakes to messages across the sky, no idea is considered too small or too big for the sake of romance, making it somewhat similar to marriage proposals. Of course, the more creative or personal the inquiry is, the bigger the impression – and who’s to say that it’s a bad thing? Let's face it; prom is an event that is truly about memories of your classmates and your overall high school experiences. It’s a special night that one is bound to remember, even in old age. So, before you go searching for your prom tux, first mull over how you plan to ask your date to the big night because you will be creating a memory that might last a lifetime. Rose Petals Probably the most romantic and classiest move of all - leave a trail of rose petals for her to follow and watch as her excitement build as she sees where they lead.  At the end, wait for her wearing your best looking tuxedo while holding a rose. Serenade Singing for her may seem sappy and unoriginal, but that doesn't mean it won’t work.  Songs have a romantic feel and the power to flatter.  Gain extra points by writing your own tune. If you’re not musically talented you can always substitute her name in a well-known song or use one that describes her.

The famous scene from 10 Things I Hate About You features Heath Ledger serenading the lovely Julia Stiles.

3. Flash Mob Entertain with the unexpected.  Gather a group of willing friends and classmates, rehearse a well choreographed act, and spring your assembly on her in a hallway when everyone is switching classes.

A sweet flashmob promposal is difficult to execute but will guarantee you fantastic results!

4. Auditorium Presentation Take her to the auditorium after school and have a theatrical presentation planned for her that will lead to you popping the question.  Have participants on stage in formal attire to suggest the setting. Maybe even a simple bow tie for men would work. [caption id="attachment_1736" align="aligncenter" width="300"]Simple but sweet. Simple but sweet.[/caption] 5. Banner There is always the idea of having a banner spread across the sky, just like in the movies – but that can get expensive.  A simpler approach would be to drape a sign from a bridge or between two telephone poles, with the approval from the local township. It’s the bold and flattering promposals that will be most appreciated. [caption id="attachment_1737" align="aligncenter" width="300"]Touching indeed.
